Lance Armstrong
Girona, Spain, 2003
lance armstrong is by far the biggest sports man i ever
met, let alone photographed. i went to girona in spain to meet him and
we spent some nice time together while he was preparing for another tour
de france win. i couldn't believe his schedule and was amazed he gave
me as much time as he did. i wanted to shoot him without any reference
to his sport (like a bike in the shot) so we did some portraits while
strolling around town, some were quite funny shots, for the great american
magazine Outside. this is my favourite shot of that day.
