Massive Attack

I have loved Massive Attack for years and met 3D a few times but apart
from the portrait of Horace Andy years ago I never
photographed them till this shoot for Details (USA). Although they are
photographed in the 'blue' style the photo is not part of the 'fake documentary'
series. I just felt that the colour matched the feeling I have when I
listen to their music and I like the idea that they are not a unit like
a lot of bands and here they are all looking into a different direction.
The shot was taken in the Portobello Road area and the painting on the
wall was something I saw when passing by in the car.
